As some of you may know Tom R bought CL04CSL of me, i didn't advertise it, just quietly dealt with Tom which was a pleasure and let her go, 04 SG CSL with only 17K on it, i didn't do the car justice with working over seas offshore, though i really appreciated the car for what it is, a truly fantastic car but thought Ok we'll have a change.
Who know's i may regret it but being away for 12 weeks in Singapore pisses you of knowing you have a true classic not being used, i know some may take the piss but i though i'd try one of these, not as inspiring, no noise to enjoy but will give it a try. I may be back in the future, Look after it Tom. Cheers Mark |

Shame to hear of another CSL changing hands but I completely understand where you're coming from. I'm offshore too, in Brasil though and only for 5 weeks at time. What d'ya do yourself mate? Newbuilds? Rigs? Jack-ups?
Lovely Aston, I can only dream, particularly right now as we try to buy another house. It's taking me all my own will power to keep the CSL and not through it into the house, but she is a classic and even my Wife says, "She's like part of the family now!" Result, got myself a winner here. Best of luck with the new wheels mate ![]() |

Hi Baz,
With BP in Singers on a FPSO conversion, been offshore all my life, mostly far east south china seas etc, rotating stuff gas comps turbines mostly, you drilling ? a few mates are down there with Devon Energy, supposed to quite a good crew change ! copacabana beach etc though it's a bit dodgy isn't it ? Love your missus thoughts on CSL ! part of the family, A mate has all M3 models a RS4 and aston, he loved the CSL, mightly impressed & said it was quicker than aston until you go 4.7, the 4.3's were supposed to be as quick asa 997 3.8 but never were but i'm going into it with a open mind. Not a chance no where near as much fun & not as quick either & to get more power it's serious money, just going to enjoy it when i DO get home.
I might end up back in a M3 one day though a V8 in frozen grey, then a CSL eventualy ! |

No, not on the Rigs, I'm Anchor Handling and Towing. Looking to get over onto that kind of stuff though in the not too distant future. Know a few who've gone from these boats up onto the Rigs and Installations etc. as OIM's and Tow Masters etc. wouldn't mind a slice of that action someday but think the 5 week trips seems to be a steal right now.
Good luck with the conversion, how longs it been going on now? |

[quote=steelyork;103173]It's called PSVM, a conversion from a BP tanker, it's the sister to Plutonio that i was on in Angola.
Cheers Mark Who is the design contractor as not heard of PSVM in London? Angola, now that is a lovely place to visit, never did envy the people who followed that Project from design to the end. |
