Default What's it worth?

Hi guys and gal.

Considering on selling and wanted your opinion on what's it worth.

03 SG CSL
70,000 miles
FBMWSH
7 owners including me - I have owned for the last 3.5 years
Run In Service at 1200 miles
Extended BMW warranty, no excess, paid monthly
Inspection 1 due in 5000 miles
Completely standard with Air Con, Radio, PDC
Excellent condition for its miles, usual stone chips on the front bumper as never resprayed. Wheels, interior, body panels not a mark on them.
New clutch and flywheel 2000 miles ago

Thanks

Dave

I just sold my 62k mile SB CSL for £22k so I'd imagine fairly similar money maybe a bit more as I didn't have warranty

mine also had 6 or 7 owners including myself, 8k miles until the inspection 1, FSH although the last two were specialist not BMW

Yup - suggest 22/23k - Xmas round the corner won't help. Hang onto it until Feb if you can do it.

I would go for £24-25k and of you say it is clean with exception of a few stone chips and can wait to sell I think it will fetch £23-23.5, otherwise £22k ish for a quick sale

Tell me about it.

After xmas 'unforseen' circumstances mean that I will have to drive 500 miles a day, about 12 times a year.

Not sure whether the CSL is the best bet really, more from an increased mileage pov. I am keen to retain as much value in the car as possible, and would rather put 6000 miles on enjoying the car, rather than trudging up and down the M5/M6. The plan was always to enjoy the car for 12 months, and then be able to move it on, still sub 50k with 12 months AUC warranty, the extra mileage would put it at about 55/56k as of August next year. (currently on 47k)

I would be loathed to sell, as it is simply the best car I have ever owned, both in terms of ability and condition.

I am being rather grumpy about the whole thing tbh.

Not worth the worry mate. If it was 20k miles, different story, but the price diff at that mileage isnt worth the hassle of changing cars / losing the enjoyment IMHO

Will the auc warranty be affected if I go over 60k?

I have heard. To get it on the 'cheap' £80pm you need to take the policy before 60k, with my new mileage, in 2 years I will be over 60k before my current warranty expires?
