Default BMW Emergency

Just renewed mine on the car for if the below ever happened.
But is BMW emergency actually any good?? Any experiences, especially when abroad?

Best

The only experience I have of them is calling them out when I had a seized brake calliper. He managed to get it freed up enough and asked if I would mind following him 'to a dealer of my choice'. So, off we went, wrecking a disc and one pair of pads in the process but while we explained to the Service desk what the story was, a Courtesy car was being prepared and I Was sent on my way. 2 new discs, a set of pads and one new calliper later and I was on my way, all under warranty.

Very good in my opinion and worth it, if you're not covered through your Bank Account etc., which I am now, FOC for European cover so I cancelled my BMW cover.

I have also never used it abroad, but been on the back of a lowloader twice in this country, once when the alternator packed in and once with a siezed caliper.Ive never had any trouble with them and its worth the money imho.

Another seized caliper to the mix. Were you pads overly low when it happened? Mine were pretty fresh looking, just one of those things I suppose

Sorry for thread hijack, moving on.

Now I know the other reason we're mostly on AP's.
