BMW E46 M3 S54 engine
I am selling my S54 engine, 61k genuine miles. This engine is in perfect condition with frequent oil changes. It comes from a facelifted M3. These engines have been revised and during my 5 year ownership - it has never taken a drop of oil.
It does not come from an accident damage car either so it is an additional piece of mind. My M3 has never been to a race track. Engine (head, block, sump) £2850 I can include ALL ancilaries - Vanos, alternator, a/c compressor, throttle boddies, engine wiring loom, engine ECU, ignition / barrel, locks + two keys for an extra £1500 If you want to keep factory engine immobiliser, You will need ECU, keys and engine from the same car. I also have SMG gearbox / SMG ECU / SMG hydrolic pump for sale cheers, chris Last edited by Rutkowski; 31-05-2011 at 03:20 PM. |

i would have believed it Glen... but then i saw Shimmy's post on m3cutters, saying that he can find an engine for £1500 - £2000 + ignition and keys in the same thread as my advert... very nice indeed.... especially considering the fact that my engine (milage) can be verified by mechanics Phil Crouch / Evolve) doing inspections on my car) and has been looked after, comes from a facelift M3, doesn't take a drop of oil... unlike an engine from accident damage M3 / some breaker yard.
straight away i got silly PMs and offers Last edited by Rutkowski; 31-05-2011 at 03:48 PM. |

I hate to tell you mate but your engine is worth nothing like the money your after, I brought a 2005 engine from a 43000 mile write off ( I know the owner) for £2000 including EVERYTHING. Its now well on its way to stroker heaven
Good luck with the sale anyways bud |

IM NOT JOKING
going rate for S54 with say 60k miles is £1500-2000 inc ecu, keys, e/loom chances are vanos wont mater as most will have ancillaries to put ont he engine from their one that has given way granted if you can show the engine is worth more with say showin its running well before or proving service history then maybe add £500 and CSL engine with cams may be worth another £500 joe public may pay more but places like Simpsons will find oen from salvage specialists for around that ££
