Default ABS

Hi,
My front wheels have twice locked up recently i.e abs didnt work. It was under heavy braking, abs now appears to be ok. No warning lights came on, checked capilers all move easily. Car booked into garage tomorrow interested if anyone has any ideas what the issue may be.

Thanks

I occasionally get this when i have my road wheels fitted (PS2) and i get a bit carried away on the brakes with cold tyres!

The APs are too aggressive for the mechanical grip of cold PS2s...

Hi Rob,
I'm on aps, Cups were hot and went from 3mm to below the metal in about 2 secs.

Does sound like a brain issue, weird. Faulty ABS unit possibly.

Does sound like an abs ecu/pump fault.

Doesnt sound like a wheel speed sensor if you apply logic.
