I bet you have the old back box by milltek

Driving Bealos I have been ver surprised how nice sounding, non droning and not loud the Milltek is tbh

There was an old droney Milltek and I think a newer better version

I had this setup fitted within weeks of buying my CSL a few years back - BIG mistake! I removed the 100 cell cats within just a few months as the noise was just ridiculous. That helped but ultimately i ended up removing the whole system as it got on my tits in the end!

IMHO, the best system with a little added 'extra' is standard cats, standard centre section, and Supersprint Race Lightweight back box. I ran this setup for some time and it didn't drone even half as much as the Miltek did and retains the distinctive CSL 'rasp'.

I now have the Supersprint centre section fitted too and will shortly be having the Supersprint manifold fitted too

See Shimmy, I've had two of the 2nd Gen Millteks. The 1st one wasn't too bad, droned but not as bad as the brand new one I got last year under warranty. It's shocking bad and I'm looking forward to chopping it for my Supersprint which arrived safely last week!

I was surprised to hear Bealo's is quite non-drony... good though I suppose.

I was always of the same opinion but I am totally gobsmacked by Bealos.

I'll have to take it out and get it warm and try again

I briefly had the "new and allegedly non-droney Version 2" Milltek on my previous E46 M3..... but it still droned like a bastard at 2500rpm and provoked all sorts of rattles and buzzes from interior trim as a result, so it wasn't on there for long.

Sounded great otherwise, but just got on your nerves around town.

Is there much gain to be had from these Rob or are you fitting it for another reason, weight for example?
