Still No CSL
Still waiting for my CSL to come back from the Doctors!
Since the accident on the 4th June ...coming round too 3 months without it , as still waiting for the bloody carbon insert from Germany.... Have to say the novelty of the hire e92 M3 has worn off, so glad I didnt buy one , as all I want to do is drive my CSL.... its a good car ...but just not hardcore enough Not as good round castle coombe either !!

I waited 3 months for a front bumper for mine. Have you tried calling BMW customer services. They are good, I only had a hire car for 2 weeks and because they couldn't supply the part they gave me a new 335d touring to run about in. just keep chasing them.

E92 M3 to CSL share the differences +s and -s of it so you still cant beat a CSL specially a Black one!! Hope you get her back soon

OMG... does it take that long to get CSL parts??? I think I should stock some parts up then?!
You gents might want to try this... i know they are not geniune BMW parts, but they are available within 7 working days or so and the quality looks quite nice (don't think those are dry carbon fibre done with high pressure pressed moulds)... http://www.pcxpress.de/carboproject/...7ce670abd5e36a cheers, richie

Always a good idea to get a few spares when you can. Usualy pick a few up off ebay as you never know when you may need them.
Dazblackcsl, did the E92 M3 feel quicker then teh csl even though it was not as much fun? ..tracking a hire car, now thats brave. |

May 15th My accident on the M25......Stationary in traffic, person behind me didn't stop.........CSL sandwich!
12 Sep. latest estimate (duh we forgot we ordered a bumper......) So it will be 4 months, and my car will presumably be worth a lot less when I get it back, all for doing nothing. Any advance on that? |

I'm not suprised, I ordered a carbon Csl splitter at my bmw dealer the 19th Novembre 2007..... and managed to get it in feb2008..... it was always written on is Bmw intranet bmw computer system "Not in stock" even at the german bmw warehouse....
And when it arrived, inside on the bmw sticker it was written "made in slovenia".... (even on the smashed one by the way.....) happy to have managed to get a good use pair on ebay.co.uk for 100£, 3 month without a Csl ride.... how could be.... can't be....

Hi Andy
Sorry not been on line ! The E92 ive got has EDC and does feel quick in the corners , steering very very precise , but drove John's (Thorney's) CSL round gaydon all day at the BMW show the week after and , made it feel like a bus ! It is a very good GT Tourer , but not as much fun or aggressive or smile inducing as the CSL .... Might Might be getting mine back this week, getting the Vorsteiner rear carbon diffuser , total carbon piece instead ... then its complete ..... Just in time for a trip to the ring on the 13th !!
