New member saying 'Hi'.
Evening all,
Just joined this forum as im thinking about upgrading to a CSL in the near future Thought i wanted a Porsche 911 but not feeling the interiors or the attempt at rear seats At present i own an imola red E46 M3 which i love, but just getting a little bored with, and feel the CSL is the next step up to where i want to be as i know where iam with the E46's with regards to running costs and faults. After seing a Sapphire black CSL just down the road from me, its that colour i would be after with a/c and radio. I own some other cars, one being a 40k Escort RS Cosworth on a K plate, the other being a K plate Vauxhall Nova mapped by Mark Shead at M.A.Developments with around 300hp on Autronic SM2. Here are some pics, Good old DoDo juice orange crush So anyway thats me |

Loving all three cars mate, I bet that Nova SHIFTS though.
I suppose you must have some sleepless nights with that Cossie too, don't know if I could live with one but cracking car and loving the wheels. Welcome to the Forum and good luck in your hunt, but I have to say it, you're going for the wrong colour mate! (innocent banter on here regarding the 2 colours) |

Love it, wrong colour, i think im revolting, as my dad has had BMW's for along time and ALWAYS has silver. I just find there are too many silver cars about at the moment, i know the CSL is silver/grey, but i just fancy a change and more of a contrast, although i know black will be a bitch to keep clean (had a black nova gte back in the day!). The nova is fun/dangerous, spins its wheels all the way through 3rd in the dry and makes my M3 look like its stood still in a straight line, but does not go round corners. Had it since i was 19, but now at 27 i feel abit of a chav driving it Escort cosworth I bought, drove for 20 mins and didnt like the lag on the T34 so just left it in the garage for the last 4 years. But i wanted one since i was 12 years old so i would never sell it as its my dream car. |

Looking at how big and how Fwd that engine in the Nova is, I was thinking it didn't do corners right enough. But can imagine it can do a 1/4 mile is a good time.
You're in a good position to be able to keep a Escort Cosworth in the Garage, good man. I like it, ;-) Just remember though, Black CSL's don't highlight the carbon fibre parts as well as the SG one therefore are slower! haaahaa |
