old style pajero

hi all ,hope i dont get wrong for asking this on here ,but ive set my heart on an old style pajero swb 2.8 diesel ,anyone of you chaps had experience ,good or bad ,and what should i look for .got about £5000 to spend on the right one

Done a few cylinder heads over the years because of cracking around the valve seats causing overheating and also poorly adjusted front wheel bearings hope this helps.
