Default leaking diff

just been fitting my supersprint system to the car and as i was looking around spotted that the diff is weeping slightly where the offside driveshaft goes in, is this another of the common faults on the csl and will it be done under warranty.

i had the same thing drivers side.... turned out the diff was knackered bmw replaced the entire unit 2k + vat + fitting if you dont have warrenty

looks like it was worth renewing the warranty then.

i would say so, jack it up and wiggle the "shaft" see if there is play, mine has collapsed bearings or some such thing.

i had weaping diff seals (a very little)

if no big loss of fluid then just replace the 2 or 3 seals u/warranty
