Could do with selling the csl......
Alright guys.
Really dont want to but a house has just come on the market down here that frankly is to good to miss. I have alot of money tied up in another property/development at the moment and that leaves the csl looking like a good deposit.... So firstly is anybody looking for one at the moment? If not what do you think is a fair price for advertising it on A.T. bearing in mind i want to move rather sharpish before the house opportunity disapears. 53 reg, SG, 41350 miles, FSH with BMW, BMW warranty,I am 3rd owner. 7000miles till insp II. Very clean and well kept car, only goes out in the dry. Extensive documented history folder. The only thing that lets it down in my opinion is the brakes (as posted in other threads) and i am in the middle of sorting AP's for it now. I am 3rd owner. Tyres are good with around 6mm or better tread all round.(ps2's) minimal stone chipping to the front and i do mean minimal. options wise its got; A/C CD player (business) Xenons Mats De-limited All from new. I had the car detailed when i brought it home and have maintained this look ever since. Only other bits i have done so far is changed the wipers to the flat evo style ones, bought a passenger side, side repeater (i think the deatiler broke this...git) and a car cover for when its in the garage during the rain, all new BMW bits. Piccies to follow. Last edited by weedavey; 23-03-2010 at 07:58 PM. |

Just guessing, £25k no offers to shift it quickly?

Looks nice
Hard to say on price, there was one on PH's which had 40K on the clock and was up for 23.5K, it hung around for a while. Try 25K, less if you're in a rush |

Yours is indentical to mine in every way and I gave 28k for mine just before xmas, I would say a quick sale to be around 26k with the AP's, IMO that's an absolute bloody bargain!!
Hope you don't have to sell but best of luck with whatever you do mate

How tidy was that one? Can't help thinking it was a shed if it didn't shift at that price... that said, I'm a CSL owner, of course I want the prices to be at the top end

Yeah it is, this car is a bit of me and i for one love the way it drives feels and sounds. BUT the place thats for sale is pretty cheap for what it is and things could sort themselves out nicely with the other property leaving me good scope for buying another csl a bit later on which i would have no hesitation in doing. The more i think about it the more it makes sense. Just have to get in there before anybody else but at this moment in time that means selling the car.
Just heard back from the dealer i bought it off who at the time said he wouldn't hesitate to buy it back, his offer isn't bad for a trader. |

But would you happen to have a photo of how your wipers sit? Reason I ask is because I have a set of these and they fit like crap (never sits flush with the screen itself), so I took them off. Have wondered if I simply got a dud set ... (Mine are genuine BMW items too ... go figure) Thanks. And good luck with your decision - better to have money in appreciating assets rather than depreciating assets I say. Lovely car you've got there! Last edited by NZ_M3; 24-03-2010 at 12:51 AM. |
