Marathon
Well,im back after my long trip to Murketts[740 miles],what a nice guy Andy Pressland is,and very helpfull in sorting out my CSL,you guys who live up that way are very lucky to have a Bmw service team who know so much about CSLs and actually fight are corner.Got my warranty work done with no hassel, and had the parts orderd before they had seen the car. They put my flap back back on cleaned the bushes and a new Actuator, new micro switch behind one of the paddles, reset the softwear for the clutch slur, found a broken spring and replaced the pair, found a cracked front alloy, which Andy says its the first one he has seen, got a new one fitted the same day, athough not under warranty.I will without a dout travel the same distance again for any other warranty work or an inspection.Andy says he has 64 csls on the books,4 of which were there today.

Mine's booked in in a couple of weeks. I need my clutch slur sorted and may as well get him to do a thorough check at the same time to see if there is anything else that needs sorting.

Been wondering where to go for some CSL savvy...went to my local dealer for a diff seal replacement on Friday, and they hadn't ordered the damn part (despite having the car up on the ramp the previous weekend for a look)...so I turn up tail end of the day and they tell me 'it's been ordered sir and will be in next week'...FFS!
I get over to Cambridge on biz quite regularly so will be using them instead...good excuse to cause some noise pollution along the M4 |

I spoke to Andy about my car on Friday and he said someone from St. Ives had dropped their car in, I said I bet that's Brett!
Mine will have it's Inspection II done there in 5k miles and anything else it needs
