Careful that diffuser isn't a genuine item - it's a replica.
Here's what to look for in a genuine diffuser: Notice the 'indent' between the bare carbon part and the painted part of the diffuser: notice the heavy indent where the pop in clips go to secure the diffuser to the bumper: What the inside should look like: |

This was offered to me on cutters and I was sent pictures. It does seem to have a label on the back. Any help?

The real deal has the production label epoxied into the actual diffuser (see my last photo - this diffuser is the latest production, so it actually has a different label, as the manufacturer's now changed to Germany, rather than Slovenia) You can also tell that the back side is fiberglass weaving, not carbon fiber. |

Hi everybody
Just to let you know that I am the one selling on Pistonheads and M3Cutters. I bought it privately and was told that it was genuine and only just found out that it isn't. I just wanted to clarify that I have only found out that it's a rep and that I am not the sort of person who would mislead people on purpose (I am always worried about the come back). I am sorry for wasting people's time and thank you for pointing out the difference between this and a genuine one. Sorry again. |
