THANX Steve. I don't know if you remember me from a few years back ( I drove a Silver Grey Porsche 928 around the Ring at the time, pic below) but you've very kindly took me out for numerous PAX laps around the Ring, firstly in your not so standard 535d with paddle shift and then in the CSL, when it was still SG. It was those CSL laps that convinced me that nothing but a M3 CSL will do as a Ring Toy, from that moment on... I just had to have one... so a partial THANX for pointing me in the RIGHT direction, as it were |

Not more pics Matt
They are nice ones, however! Looks like your car ride height needs lowering a little though...

Send me a picture of your noggin and see if I remember - my memory is diabolical, and I'm sure since my crash last year its got worse. Or perhaps thats age LOL Glad you enjoyed it, I really enjoyed those times with the 535d and then the CSL. The two biggest things I noticed in enjoying the ring were: 1. Putting a cage in (even the bolt in one) - it was like a brand new car, some much more pointy 2. 3 way suspension upgrade - more compliant when I wanted it and just (im my opinion) so much better than fast road ones or std. |
