Spec to Sell?
I may sell my CSL to fund a Race Car for next year likely to be a 330i as I can't run over 3000cc in the Championship I'm looking at. My question is, is it best to sell the car with Intrax and AP's fitted (the AP kit is uprated from the 'standard' AP kit) or put back to standard and sell/keep the parts for the Race Car or sell as is with the standard parts in a box? Thanks

I would say it depends on if you can be arsed to put back to standard.
The parts won't or I don't think will fit a 330i You may get a bit more for the car with APs on. The suspension I think I would take off, a potential buyer would probably prefer standard suspension, especially if they have done their homework and seen the problems that can occur fitting coilovers to an E46 M3 / CSL I'm sure a track nut would take them off your hands pretty quickly. |

i would get it as close to OEM as you can and sell parts seperately.
AP kit i would maybe leave on but clearly price accordingly with uplift of sold WITH. Def get a/m suspension, exhaust, top mounts, seats, off as you are likely to attract more buyers and make more money back BUT more hassle for you. (only relevant if you have the stock parts of course) |
