There are some roads in Male - the capital, but I've never been more terrified than when being driven to a hotel there. There must be a system of sorts because I survived to tell the tale, but I'll never figure it out!

Your sea-plane looks a lot better than the speed-boat we had - which broke down. No amount of using a spanner as a hammer got it going again either...

Did you see any Mantas (no, not the Opel kind!)? It's a good time of year for them isn't it?

Sorry Neil...... you wouldn't have liked it there, i'm sure.....

Pix on Facebook of my tan.......but you have to be my friend to see them....

Sure did miss the CSL. Got by though by watching vids which were on the video camera from previous outings in it! And its also my screensaver on my mobile hehe!

Male looked very busy - would not have liked to drive there!!

Yup, I saw a few rays. Im not a confident snorkeller and I saw one coming towards me and I panicked and scared it and it went round me - was wonderful to see one though. At the restaurant, they had feeding time at 6:30 for the rays - at one time there were 8 of them - a couple were massive sting rays. My fave fish was the puffer fish and unicorn tang. Also went fishing maldivian stylee and saw a marlin and dolphins.

Some more pics here....

Gross sea cucumber.....
