My detailing effort!!!!!!
My car was booked in yesterday for a detail in mansfield nottingham area.
But my little baby is not well so i did not want to leave my baby and girlfriend at home all day on their own. A few hours from liverpool. So i had to cancel, (sorry paul) I really wanted my car detailed so my brother went to halfrauds 3 for 2 on cleaning products. Got myself a good car wash/shampoo, a good clay bar kit, fine resin polish/sealer, and already had myself good quality carnuba wax. I set about..... 1. I washed the car, 2. Chamois towel dried, 3. Clay barred with meguiars 4. I then washed again with meguiars product 5. I then chamois/towel dried (again) 6. Auto glym super resin polish, buffed off by hand 7. Good quality carnuba waxed. All this by hand. And im very very pleased with the results, it took me about 3 hrs in total. I am still going to book in for the detail when i get a chance. ( Babies rule) Few pics below of my efforts.... csl1.JPG csl2.JPG csl3.JPG csl4.JPG csl7.JPG |

Silver wheels look so plain and boring to me now. I think the black wheels give it a certain type of agressiveness it deserves. Totally transform the car, my misses wants hers on her c class estate black now, even though when i had them refurbed i suggested black, but no she wanted silver, now she has changed her mind, Oh well best get cracking and do my c class wheels now |

nice detailing job mate!!!
I also love the CSL with black wheels.... when it is time, I will source a set of CSL wheels and paint them black too.... it does make the car looks heaps more aggressive and I reckon CSL should have come with black wheels from the start... give the car more characteristics... same as those GT machines from Poker.. cheers, richie

Hold on a minute - that's my car! Oh no it can't be - looks like 'M3' side grilles rather than 'CSL' side grilles...
Car looks great mate

Mine sits a little better than yours, get the kw's on before oulton, set up right the car is night and day, compared to stock I could not be bothered swapping the badges over, so left the m3 ones on. |
