Smile Re: BMW 'or' Warrenty Direct fully comp?????

Needing to get an insured Warrenty for the car for piece of mind.
Just like to hear opinions of people that have had either or both of these.

Pro's and con's in claims experience with these two options?

Any exclusions that proved to be problematic or considered unfair?

Thanks for your help P.

I had a new diff and a fair amount of work on my under warranty at my dealers, no problem.

Dealers tend to love (BMW) warranty work!

BMW warranty worth every penny

i agree with SpineOnABap 0 excess bmw warranty you cant beat it, i had new diff this year worth £2k approx, not quite on Mark scale no doubt all our warranties will increase next year as we keep Mark's car on the road in A1 condition

How much is a BMW warranty out of interest? I got a very comprehensive 3rd party warranty as part of the deal when I bought my car, but will definitely consider teh BMW one for when it expires.

£950 for 0 excesss for under 60000 miles cheaper if excess taken per claim, bmw also do goodwill gestures so must help if you have warranty, most warranties only cover mechanical failure i.e. they wont replace things like wheel bearings for noise as there is no failure, noisy diff, gearbox etc they tend to be complete waste of money after market warranties in my opinion
