Default Exhaust decat opinions

Thinking of putting a decat on my csl, as i understand it, the cats are slightly restrictive.

Anybody on here done this? Was it worth it?

Seen a few vids with straight pipes and they sound awesome, totally menacing.

My call already has a titanium rear section, sounds very nice.

I dont want it sound obscenely loud but if it drives better with no cats ill get it done.

yes and it depends on what your after ....

Great sound with normal back box, may be too much with after market, but that is down to what you class as loud....

Seems to pull better although I can't prove it as I haven't had a dyno.

Can stutter when cold (1st morning start up) and pulling from a standing start, only if I have my sports button on and only sometimes, if I leave it till my oil warm up lights go out its fine.

Cheap mod though just to see if its good for you, I found a place that makes them up who are good value with good service.

EML light may or may not come on, again there is a thread on here that shows away round it, or you could ask the makers of the pipes to put an extended piece on so the sensors sit higher. If you find the thread it will all be explained.

Sorry it takes me ages to find stuff hence no link
