Default What tyres for Anglesey?

cant decide what tyres to run on saturday, got the PS2's on the car at the moment and a set of cups fitted to a second set of wheels. leaving for north wales tomorrow afternoon so i have to decide which set of wheels to run in advance of the trackday on saturday.

forcast is for showers.

if it turns out to be dry i will fook up a brand new set of PS2 and wish i had the cups on for the extra grip.

if i fit the cups and it rains all day i will wish i had run the ps2's and my day will be spent driving half pace.

what would you do???

Put the cups in the boot/backseat. I have heard Anglesey is tough on tyres; if it is dry it will kill your PS2s...

the old track was hard on the tyres but the new one isnt so much.

the cups are fitted to another set of wheels and don't think you can fit 4 wheels in the csl without damaging the interior.

its been dry and blue sky here for the last two days

keep changing my mind on which to fit..

That skid pan looks fun! E30 lad is pretty good at the end.

and is that what my car sounds like?!(1min drive-by). I now envy the people I pass on the street!

Cups will be fine!

But get some wheel covers and then take both sets with you!

The back seat needs to go down. I have some tyre bags to keep them in, but I have found the best way is get 2 tyres in and upright on top of the back seat. Bring the third in between them and place the fourth in so you can shut the boot. Then move the 'third' one back and then bring the two upright ones gently down. The bags do help!
