Hi,

Thought it best to introduce myself before nosing around on this site to much.

I've had a series of 'M' cars of the past years but now in the market for a CSL.

Just missed out on one 2 weeks ago, but I hope to have made a purchase by Christmas.

Good one's seem to be going like hot cakes at the moment.

Welcome
If you can try to buy a CSL directly from an enthusiastic owner, preferably CSLR member The golden rules of bagging a decent Cecil are... overall condition & solid service history. Odometer reading & number of owners are far less important.
Good hunting

Cheers Guy's

I looked at a good low mileage example today and hopefully seeing another at the weekend.

I'm sure I'll have one soon.

Are the boot floors a big problem?

Not if it's been done properly. There appears to be lots of talk on the subject, but the correct fix is not cheap. Someone will be along to explain what should. & should not be done. Also get it checked by someone who knows what they are looking for. I could not believe mine was cracked even when I was shown it by the tech. Shown the replaced floor and there was a lot more cracks starting from the inside.

Get the whole car checked by someone in the know.
