Anyone driven / owns one ( face lift 1st generation cars circa 2008 ish ) ?

Looking for a new daily, wife used to have a 120d Msport that was great little car , probabally one of our favorite cars.

My 2010 Range Rover has just sold, so thought about maybe trying a 130i for a bit of fun cheap motoring . Nice N/A BMW 6 with manual box , assuming cheapish to run.

Just wondering if they felt nice & torquey yet still quick ?

Alternative is something like an e90 330i cab or maybe a 645i cab ?
