Default It's Valentines Day - show some love!

I spent some quality time with the one i love this Valentine's afternoon...!

I cleaned the rear underside of the car. I really wish that i'd done this sooner having driven on so many salt laden roads recently

Just the fronts to do tomorrow... Love's a terrible thing!

Looks well mate. I usually get under there with a heavy degreaser and pressure washer. Find it does the trick no bother. probably removed all the protective qualities of the paint right enough, tis that strong.

I last saw underneath back in November when the car was on a ramp. It was grubby but no big deal. When i looked again today it had gotten a fair bit worse since - it has to be road salt as i haven't been able to wash it lately near as much as i'd like.

The arm looks worse than it actually is - just some light surface corrosion/discolouration - unsightly all the same! Need to get '1cosmicboy' over!

FYI - My car was one of the last production, dated Dec 03 and it has now covered 48k miles.

Aye, mine is a Dec 03 car too, has 34K on it now. Last time I looked, I can't remember them being too bad but hey, it'll clean up...with a bit of sandpaper and hammerite!

Elbow grease!

I used Autoglym engine/machine cleaner and a scouring pad! I used a softer brush on delicate bits.
