Default Front Propshaft Coupling?

What does it look like, where does it go, and how much to change.

What else should I do when down there

Thank you.

Like this: $(KGrHqMOKowFJLbPgp8MBSWZTZ2YvQ~~60_12.JPG

The part should be about £45 but the labour might be a tad more expensive

You also need a strip of butyle tape because you need to lower the centre bearing to get the doughnut off.if you don't you may get vibration like i did had to buy the tape to mount centre bearing all was good after.i can fit it if you want it done local

Shimmy I replaced my prop coupling and centre bearing myself. I used a Lemforder part from euro car parts. The car drives loads better from stand still. Must have been flexing. BMW quoted me £600 to replace just the coupler. I did that and the centre bearing for just over £100 .

They are not that hard to do, and a common wear item unfortunately.

Why do you think yours needs replacing?
