What polish and waxs do you use?

Im after the pro detailers typical equialent products and finish along with that super bead run off. I have the time, just need the products.
Ive spoken to SVD, but getting confused on what they offer. Im defiantly getting the waffle weave cloth, as its meant to be a good1 for drying.

For you SG CSLs what do you use to treat and whats your procedures? polish and then wax after washing with shampoo. I want to get rid of those micro small swirl marks, clay needed or just polish and wax?

Someone pursuade me please...

Yep waffle weave poor boys cloth are great for drying....I use two. I will Polish and then a layer of wax every two weeks or once a month depending on weather. If you don't want to pay a fortune for wax Autoglym high definition wax is good.

Gurcharn from elitedetailing is coming tomorrow for 2 days to detail my car I can't wait .

As mine is also SG I will let you know what products he recommends.

Karbonkid if your car has swirl marks you will never polish them out by hand, it will need someone to machine / mop them out. This is a very timely process, if you want to achieve depth into your paint you will have to pay a specialist. I would never suggest doing this if you have no experience as you could do more damage to the paint etc.

Give Rob from Super Car Detailing a call on 07956 647014. He has done several cars on here including mine, he is mobile detailer located in Kent. I know he regularly goes to Brighton as he has a client who has a taste for Exotic cars.

What I hope is to go along and help a detailer and learn the step and procedures of getting the best results. Then I can buy the products myself and do solo. Just need to see it done first suppose. I have the time as i only work half the year, just need the experience with a pro.

Don't bother, the dealer will do it twice a year for nothing at service and MOT time, that is all it needs.

I dont think i realise what sort of finish i will get. I am told it will last long term, its hard to believe.

What do people have done with their Alcantara interior, is this something they will treat?
