my euro trip.for those who didnt make it

trip started 7.50 euro tunnel train.

hotel reached at around 5pm after a fun drive.we all sat down and met up(those who were staying at tiergarden).i had great pleasure meetin back up with matt and me alex aka karbon kid.matt and a few others decided as it was drying out to hit the ring for an evening lap or two.i went on track with matt as we raced out in the wet on cups.scary never been out myself.anyway matt is explaining at 100 plus mph cups dont stick in wet.and quite calmly says "look at that nice blue sky"i shat it saying watch the track fuck the sky!!!
next mornin it was my turn to try the track(clip to follow)

around 12pm we hit the road headed to munich.around 20 csls converg on the garden no space to park.myphonepics 018.jpg
we get to leonardo royal around 5.30pm.check in clean up and we all congregate in the lobby for a drink and to arrange a meal.at half 7 we set of on the underground headed for Ratskeller Munchen.a massive underground restaurant.after dinner some of us went back to hotel for sleep(polish cars)and half went to enjoy themselves.
next morning some worse for wear we headed off to BMW WELT.

after a nice tour of welt some went to the museum,some went to hotel and others went to various other places.
once everyone was back at hotel all washed up we sat for the most excellent meal ever.around 80+ csl enthusiasts all under one roof.soo many great people.we sat for our meal had our raffle and auction of which alexgtt paid around 600 pounds for a model car towards cancer charities,outstanding effort by himand many others to help raise over 6k for charity,WELL DONE GUYS!!plenty drinking and mingling people started leaving for bed only to wake for 9am trip to m studio.sorry i cant post more pics but im sure those who have been have posted some m studio pics.im gonna post a part two may help.

from m studio we were invited by BMW to maisach driver training academy.where we saw rare cars such as m3 tourer.

after speaking to two techs who desingned and produced the CSL.some left early and others followed the pac to a BMW lunch in a nearby village.after lunch off to salzburg.

after a quick drive alledgedly 120mph to around 180mph those that could we arrived via RedBull arena where there were various f1 cars and planes.

we finally hit hotel moosleitner.beautiful little hotel with no space to park our babies.
in the morning we were off to the AC SCHNITZER Motorsport division.to meet some truly great people.the scnitzer younger half brothers who run their bmw dtm team.

from there it was Hitlers Hideout Eagles Nest.WOOOW what a great place snow and sun same time.wish i had a pic of yanto at the summit.hoodie on over his head shades and legs covered like a vamp hiding from the sun.lol!
we trecked straight to the top in the icy snow.where we sat had lunch and talked somemore.myphonepics 112.jpg
from there it was back to the bottom to collect our cars and head our own ways.the sad part as we all split up to head in various directions.we had one last run up country winding roads just to put the cherry on the cake.sorry cant add another pic but sure you will find clips somewhere.

after that i made the quiet run to nurburg where as i hhit stuttgart area was hit by bad bad rain that slowed my pace right down and spoilt the highs of the week..got to nurburg around 10.40pm booked into my hotel went to sleep.
next day all washed out raining hard met with matt and alex kk we had a look around then another wet slow drive home.got to the train 2 hours early at this point i couldnt wait to get home to bed.
ive missed out some great things we saw and did but this is a post for those who couldnt attend.hope you enjoy.!!
