I have a spare plaque along with the cover note from BMW from when it was supplied, I was planning to keep it for my next CSL but I might be persuaded to part with it for the right price.

Cheers,

Gav

Two of the most expensive SB's on PistonHeads don't appear to be wearing theirs, perhaps more than one required

A couple of years ago you could get one from BMW UK on production of your Vin and Details, but I think you'll find 'NLA' would be their answer now.

They do appear albeit very infrequently on ebay, but go for silly money.
Did I see someone knocking out copies somewhere?

You could be right there, UK and SA were the only countries to get a plaque and both were wrong!

I don't mind not having, I was just wondering if most cars are meant to have it, since mine is not UK new then that probably explains it!

Hi Mark,

Thank you for the generous offer, I am based in NZ though and that's where my lovely NZ new car is (hence no plaque I see). I do have a relative in the UK who may be able to forward them on though, I'll PM you.

I just wanted to say what I legend Mark is! Checked my post today and what did I find? A couple of little screws and some CSL register stickers! Just an awesome show of community from the register here, I will be getting the stickers on ASAP, thanks Mark!
