On the road you can only drive to your visibility and have to consider other road users, as such there isn't a specific MPH that can be considered fast \ safe \ whatever as is constantly changes depending on visibility, traffic & road conditions.

Because of this on the road I'd rather have a car that is fun at lower speeds and feels faster than it is, my whole point is that I want the adrenaline rush without having to pin the throttle open for 19 seconds, the actual numbers aren't relevant.

let's be honest here - 50 mph is hardly a thrill, isn't it? Unless you're cycling down a steep hill!!

Seriously... To induce adrenaline rush you have to drive in a manner that you physically make some sort of effort....otherwise you're just driving. There is no other way around it.

Driving at speed limits - i can't think of anything, any car that'd give serious thrills. Superbikes - now that's an entire different story but not 4 wheels IMO.

i have been enough times in small 'fun' cars on country lanes to know that a risk of a cyclist riding two abreast or cats or whatever is always present.

CSL is a small, loud car so i can understand the attraction of it and what you're saying.... but induction noise does not come on until 4000rpm so again, we're talking speeding which theoretically speaking.... puts us in the same position really... you in CSL and Me in V10.

thanks for a sensible conversation.

Because they are shit drivers and that think to be fast from point A to B, which includes several corners, they need stupid amounts of power. When in reality they only needed a bit of talent.
