Yes, built in 2003 that's true and it's weird that it's the registration date that matters but that's BMW for you.

Mine's an '04 and I had mine done 2 years ago under the Paint Warranty, but I thought it was 12 years. My Mirror isn't looking too healthy at the minute and I'm looking for a time to head in with a couple of other tiny spots, one under the trim piece on the rear 1/4 forward of the wheel. Doubt I'll get either to be honest.
