Talking Bealo - GET A GEN 2 TURBO

Just got back from what only can be described as one of the best days in a car, outside of my racing season in 09..

Last year got invited by a corp events co that want some of my business, to do a super car driving day, meet at 10am, 2 hours in one of six cars, set off to meet at a pub in the cotswolds for lunch, hour and half stop, then approx 2 hours back to starting point.

Last year we had a LP560 Spyder in the AM, and a R8 in the PM, some pics of which in my album, R8 boring compared to Lambo, so we arrived today to see some of the cars the same as last year, with the exception of a brand new 911 Gen 2 (PDK) Turbo in White, tucked in the corner hiding ..

Was with my mate dazza 2 again today, whom some of you know ( solutions fame ) ..

Same format, was asked what my pref was for the two I wanted for the day, given there were other people present also, so was not guaranteed our first choices ..

Lambo LP560 spyder in the morning, special car, the noise and road presence awesome, and a cracking few hours spent in it again like last year..

Lunch and then the Gen 2...

Fuck what a car, acceleration was mind blowing, with traction off, sport plus on, the car is simply sublime, both of us having driven many things, and me doing a season of racing in the CSL cup have been used to quick motors, BUT this thing defies the laws of anything I have driven, the way it gets off the line, handles and just keeps accelerating at what can only be described as 'Starship levels of power, head in back of seat, neck straining, smile inducing, made the LP560 feel tame seriously !

Still have a smile, me and dazza spent the drive home just in awe of the few hours we spent this afternoon in it, you may of guessed by this thread but seriously, the most complete, special car I have ever driven on the road .. Right im off to get a bigger piggy bank, and do lotto tonight .. BEALO if funds stretch to this GO AND BLOODY DO IT .. just ask dazza

iPhone pics so not the best

Quick stop for some photo solutions..

Just about says it all

Sounds excellent, both great cars. You are a lucky man to get days out like that!

Working hard again I see mate!

Feckin' awesome day out by the looks. Pork turbo is insane. Turbo S is crazy as well. As quick as a Veyron off the mark.

Actually Bealo, why don't you rather than owning one as your always out of the country, look into this companies corp member scheme ?

For 10k you get 25 days in the car of your choice to use all year, you'll do that in depreciation, no running costs, servicing, tax etc, and get to choose from a selection, they have a 458 on route, as well as few other new bits ?

Black and White Premium membership ??

Daz, did you get a mo in the V12 Vantage? Always fancied a try in one of those. It's another world from the V8.

I'd take the Turbo over the ostentatious LP560 but strangely a superleggera over a Turbo thou.

Did the day manage to bribe you some business Daz? Looked like a good hard days work!
