How Does PerformanceBox Work?

Housed inside the PerformanceBox is a high performance 10Hz GPS engine, which measures Speed, Postion, Acceleration and Heading ten times a second.

PeformanceBox is equipped with an MMC/SD Flash memory card socket. This allows 10Hz logging of Time, Distance, Speed, Position, G-force, Lap Times, and Split Times.

Data logged to the MMC flash card can be analysed in detail using the PC software provided. For convenience, PerformanceBox can be connected to the USB port of a PC compatible computer to download information stored on the memory card.

Hi Mark,

I have sent Nathan an email that I am looking for a used driftbox.

I am not sure if the performance box has the same functionality with the driftbox.
Nathan, can you please let me know if the performance box can measure the drift angles etc like the driftbox ?

Yes mate, but the logo on this one is 'driftbox'.
From outside, they look the same, that's why Nathan can help (if hardware is the same, possibly a software install can make them provide the same functionality).

Sorry, not a software upgrade, the hardware is different no yaw rate sensor in it.
