The CSL has the shortened dip stick underneath the snorkel. The standard M3's have longer ones. Also, the SMG reservoir is missing in his car since its a traditional manual. I've relocated that reservoir to where the CSL has it when I installed the airbox

Sport On - 3200rpm open

Sport off - 5600rpm open

Anyone have a functional intake flap they want to sell? They place I ordered it from now says they can't get it

I've got a flap but not any of the housing or mechanical bits.

I will be installing an OEM CSL INtake on my Euro M3 soon, My Mechanic is a BMW Master tech and I'll ask him to hook my flap up to a button from where I can open or close it manually.

I think it might be a better idea to just leave it openn all the time? Suggestions fella's?

Save money ..dont buy it ...dont fit it ... weight saving solution ...simple !

Ah ...yes ... good point .... probably just the flap !! Quite a few on here dont have them fitted for one reason or another ! I dont have one , but then again .... theres a lot my CSL doesnt have
