Thanks for the welcome Guys
Ok as stated before had the motor since June, wasn't really planning on a CSL and was initially looking out for a 05 Grey or Back M3 Coupe, missed a couple of motors. Mate of mine had a CSL and thought I'd go for one of these instead. Opted for the black (I know it seems to be less favoured of the 2 colours on here). but as my pal had the grey thought i'd have the black. Its has couple of previous owners and not a minter but still a beauty in my eyes. I've had some fun getting acquainted and must admit they sound nice when opened up. I've already had to replace one of the bearings on the front but was advised it's common on the M3. Bit pissed at the moment as noticed some PAS fluid leaking the other day. Had a mate get it on the ramp and have a brief look and it seems to be coming from the hose located under the rad wat the point where it connects. He mentioned some fluid around the pulley but I'm hoping this is a bit of residue from the leak and not from the pump itself. Has any one else experienced this? I've left it on the ramp for now and have to wait for him to confirm the fault. (was planning on taking a warranty out, but being my laid back self put it on hold). Here's to hoping I'm not left to regret it. I'll get some pics up as soon as my laid back arse gets up and takes some!! Once again guys, thanks for your welcome posts, I already feel loved, and no I haven't been sitting here for the last 2 hours figuring out how to reply. I popped out for a while and logged back in. (your right sailorbaz, this sh*ts addictive!! |

black, shame! grey ones dont break
get the PAS hose fixed asap, coz i reckon most of the steering rack failures are low fluid related ive replaced both front wheel bearings, common on cars that have done a few track miles or maybe run spacers all theri loves try to keep it above 500rpm
