From other car Marque's I've heard nothing but good things about them, my mate also used them in his Sapphire Cosworth on track and they were superb, similar weight to a CSL I should think and RWD...

i had the same issue using AP brakes and ds2500 pads.

use performance friction discs and rs29's

as far as i can make out the DS2500 cannot cope withe the heat that the front AP brakes kick out.

I still use them on the rear AP calipers and even until recently used to swap them in at the front in between trackdays (until i found the marvellous RS14 no squeal and low temp bite pads)

I think on lighter cars withless heat they would be ok for trackdays. I know they work ok on E36

I warped my AP disks after the first trackday with ds3000 .
I skimmed them and fitted the Rs29 and after alot of trackdays they are still great .
