I like it! not sure as i would have it done to my car as i use the back seats quite a bit with my Daughter...

That looks a very nice job. I would now try and get a nicely cut piece of CF as a seperator between boot and passenger compartment

I thought of that, the only down side was I couldn't get my track wheels in.

I may do it in later as it would cut down on the road noise from the boot area.

Looks good and as others have said it should've been like this from start at least as option. Insurance always puts me off doing something like this but that may be wrong?

Has anyone (John?) considered doing a bolt-in half cage for the E46? Not necessarily something to stiffen up the shell, just something to give a bit more crash protection for trackdays.

Something with a main hoop, and the arms that go to the rear arches (or whatever) would be good as it would keep the car usable (these arms could go where the separate 'bolster' things are for the rear seat back) and there could be a bolt-in diagonal and/or harness bar.

And if you could do if got about £500....
