Anyone know of anywhere close that can beat that price

Thats taking the pee ...most around me...Bristol/Gloucester are around 750 to 800...COuld be worth traveling for a better deal.

Thats what I going to do. Phoned up Castle Motors BMW York and they come in at 700-750. When I told him where I was coming from he did a little bit better deal 675

Will be booking it in next week

Not been brave enough to ask Scotthall's in Southampton as InspII not due for 4000 miles yet..
When having issues with the run around, labour rate halved (to £60) when the car got to 6 years old??? Don't know if was just them or across the network or if still applied to the CSL..

£675, there is no way ill ever pay that,

Parts will cost me £200-£250 for

oil 8 litres of castrol tws motorsport
oil filter
air filter
fuel filter
pollen filter
2 x wiper blades
spark plugs,
diff oils and gearbox oils

then my time is free

Try speaking to Stephane in the service departement at Malton BMW (10mins from York). He quoted me £650 earlier this year for an InspII.

Unfortunatly if you want the BMW stamp which most buyers expect to see when buying then there is no choice. I take mine to BMW for the servicing for that reason only and all other work to my friendly local specialist.

Cooper Reading £750

Since Cooper is actually my local dealer, and I called them last in the hope of getting them to price match with the lowest quote, I'd say that was a bloody good result.
