No never did anything with them..
I am away to re commission the car after a 4yr laid up period in storage so I will remove and refurb them prior to it going back on the road.

I recently replaced mine (September last year), along with the headlight bolts - it was £85 in total for everything

. It took less than 20 mins start to finish.

I did the same a couple of years ago - very worthwhile cosmetically. The only thing you have to watch is that you adjust the new strikers so that they activate the SMG bonnet relay properly. Guess what I didn't do initially...

I also took the strut brace off and painted the scratched bits black.

I was able to line mine up identically due to the rust

Don’t suppose you have a list of the part numbers handy? Certainly seems like the most cost effective solution to refreshing those parts!
