I used Autoglym shampoo and a bobble remover and it worked a treat, it didn't look that dirty until seeing the state of the cloth afterwards.

Same here this combo works an absolute treat.
I did use "Raceglaze" as well (t's a good product) but as mentioned before it marks all other surfaces nearby permanently whereas the AUTOGLYM stuff doesn't.

I simply used a white towel, clear water and a tooth brush. Worked like a charm. You just have to go light on the water and not soak the alcantara.

Watched this video, which, coincidentally shows how to clean the CSL alcantara wheel.
