I wish you luck at £25k, hope you get it. If you do then it definitely shows a marked rise in prices

its gotta be worth at least £23k today shurley? I still think the CSL is slightly undervalued. Not quite found its feet yet? Don't get me wrong - it's not going to double in price overnight, or in the next year or 5 mind, but it is starting to get a lot of added interest and a kind of cult+ status - loved more today than when it was when first launched. It's a car that the next 'bubble-burst' will not effect imo. Collectors are also including them in their 'collection's'. I had A-person recently ask me if i was "interested" in selling mine for £40k... was tempted - only because it's the first car i'd of made a profit on, but after after much temptation i said no. I don't think i'll regret it either <touches wood>. What else do you replace it with??

Exactly. For anyone with one, and who cant get a GT3, then the CSL is an amazing all round car. Love the normal M3, but the CSL is just that much better in every way. Well unless you have never driven a CSL and cant understand why someone would pay the money

I got mine last September and have spent just under 4k getting it mechanically and cosmetically spot on. Obviously advertised prices and what they sell for may be two different things but based on what I've seen in the last six months I could get my money back. Also when in at the paint shop at least three people were wanting to buy it!
Had the car at Knockhill last September and was sat on the banking watching people flock round the car and photograph it. ![]() Definite buzz about the CSL at the minute! ![]() |

few new cars listed on ph.
there is an 80k miler for 28k n similar spec. the 56k miler is up for 32.5k. 39k miler (so 40k) is £35k so logic would say that 30k mile difference is worth about £4k? so in the region of 24-25k feels about right.

thing is , they arent making them any more & the CSL is accepted by all as being a great car , if not one of the best BMW has produced , so there is demand for a finite amount of cars
5 Years ago you could buy a Porsche 964 RS for £50K , today you'll need towards £100K + ( nearly all the RHD have headed east to japan) . Classic Porsches have increased in value by a huge amount this last 6 months. In theory, as market world wide for genuine classics & collectables keeps opening up into new markets then the value is naturally going to increase Of course , everything could go tits up , but at least we'd have had fun on the way |
