V sad I know but it's amazing what you can do with a tube of Autosol and a toothbrush (and I'm not talking about the bedroom here)

(And a buffing wheel we have at the workshop - oil filter cap

Not sad at all! Well worth the trouble from what I can see.
I have a tube of autosol in the garage, I might grab the wife's toothbrush later, a bit of a clean afterwards and she'll never know
