Temp gauge is not right....it should get to temp easily within 20 mins. it should stay in the middle and only move very slightly if at all. I’d want that sorted

That was my thought - all the cars I've had get up to the centre of the temp gauge fairly quickly (and many manufacturers employ a fiddle factor to ensure that it stays there, unless temps really do begin to go awry)

Could be as simple as a thermostat allowing water to run to the radiator when not required, but that would result in lower engine efficiencies and reduced fuel consumption.

Enough to put me off? I'm not sure but at 27K i would have expected better...

Anyone with the itch to sell - please PM - beer aswell as cash awaits

Nick has a good relationship with BMW Oxford
i'm sure he will rectify all the niggles through BMW

you have the option of extending the warranty
so wait the 31 days and take it to bmw for a bit of goodwill haggling
they may be willing to help on the trim issues
i know its not strictly covered but i have had a steering wheel and sill plates replaced in the past. not necessarily covered but got done because the dealer was accommodating.

You would have thought the previous owner, with a warranty, would have sorted all the niggles before selling ??

Just a thought. The rubbing on the rear seat could be due to where a baby seats buckle fastens ? Taking his grandson for a spin ???
