The service guy at Malton (Stefan) is also a real petrol head, so he knows exactly what a CSL/M car is, and doesn't give you any crap. A real top bloke so highly reconmended to anyone within a resonable distance of York.

I have 4 dealers with 12 miles of Durham, but would rather drive 70 miles to Malton to them to do the car.

Have spoken with M technican who really knows what he is doing as well, so feel quite safe in his hands. Mate has just had a load of work on his E60 M5 with him and he was very happy with the service.

Looks they will be getting my business in 1500 miles!

Yes i have seen a 15ft sign outside our BMW offering 50% off all services and repairs!

Thought I would drag this up again

My inspection II is looming in the next 3k and my results so far as followed:

Sytner Harold Wood: £1076
Sytner Loughton: £808

Sytner High Wycombe: £808
Sytner Sunningdale: £810
Stephen James Ruxley: £1297

May look further afield if I can tie it into a weekend away somewhere!
Will probably end up supplying oil & filter to bring costs down a bit more..

Mine is up for Inspection II service in 1000 miles or so, began phoning around main dealers in Ireland. So far (including rear pads fitted)

Kearys in Cork - 1900 Euro
Bolands in Waterford - 1700 Euro
Morrisons in Tipperary - 1600 Euro
Aherns in Kerry - 1593 Euro (willing to negotiate)
Prentices in Portadown (Northern Ireland) - 1100 Pounds Sterling

One would wonder how there could be such a variation on price for the same work!

The search continues.

I would love to go to a reputable Indi but want my BMW stamp, as I still have BMW warranty.
