Hi Bryce,

I had the chance of driving my friends 430 F1 quite a lot. On road and track. The car looked amazing and was quick and usable. I don't think it was to soft at all. I am not sure how the manual is but told himto go for the F1 as more fun on track and probably easier to resale.

The quality of the car was inside 50/50 . You can hear some noise and creaks that make you scared a bit thinking how much that might cost if something brakes. I drove it more than him as his wife hated beeing in it. To noisy and hard ride. So forget the scuderia for day to day. The sound was AMAZING when the valve opens. His was black so better i think for the road driving, less flashy. Not to many middle fingers in the air. He bought it for £80 000 and unfortunatly sold it for £61 000 part ex a year later cause it was winter time. So it's time to buy one now.

So yes if you can afford it is a car to have once in you life. It's beautifull. The 458 is better i think but still too much money unless if you want to buy a LHD that you can pick up now around £115 000 against £160 000 RHD.

Go for it. It will tickle your belly. Buy it with Ferrari warranty if you can but they are full price and you wont get your price back but piece of mind. My friend had a two years waranty in it from HR owen but never used it in the year as no problems. It was a 2006 F1 with low miles. He's got a 991 Carrera S now that he uses every day.

Make sure to have the right spec. The scuderia bit, stiching, Yellow rev counter..... his didn't have carbon brakes, not sure if they are important on resale but no need for road)

Hope that helps,

Eduardo.
