Cars like this are freaks, one offs. The normal rules of pricing and service history do not apply, as they will barely be driven anyway. It has crossed over from being a car to being an ornament. Nothing wrong with that, just different. No doubt anybody who spends this much on an ornament could buy a £35k runner if they really wanted to drive one. If I had the money and space to do that I would have two.

Well here it is. Yes it needed some extreme detailing, due to the quality of its storage, to get it looking commensurate with its mileage, but it is now one of the best CSL's on the planet I think you will agree.....
I wouldn't buy it, the front number plate looks like it was fitted by a retard on magic

Nice car sir, what else do you have in the collection?

Welcome Stradman
No harm meant regarding your precious however at the time of sale one of the member on here mentioned they use to see that CSL sit idle outside on a driveway for long periods of time and the seller described it as and I quote " Vehicle kept in storage for the last 10 years"
Anyhow... good to hear you're pleased with your Cecil Very shrewd investment and better (more fun) than money in the bank

I wouldn't fancy my chances with 11 year old engine oil or coolant

Funny you should ask as I just bought one last week! Will be a couple of weeks before it arrives... I had bought one new one of the last ones towards end of 2004 which I had. For 3 years. Absolutely cracker so really wanted to get back into one and found a lovely black one so looking forward to that again....

Non taken Matt
Yes you're right there was some question about the storage, hence why it required a heck of a lot detailing and sorting to get it to where it is, however the fundamentals of the car were sound I'm pleased to say and so it now represents what it should have represented all along. An excellent clean extremely low mileage car. Ok so it's not a car to throw and trash around the track- I'd be more likely to do that with my 997 GT3- but its a nice car to bring out every now and again to enjoy....lightly

And yes it is more fun than money in the bank....
