now that puzzles me tbh
road miles result in comparatively very litle wear to Cups. A new set of Cups should last over 5000 miles on the road if driven sensibly
now if you have stiffer suspension and adjustable camber plates a set of cups i reckon last between 4-7 (say 5) track days (depending front or back and what track and temperatures - and most of all how much care is taken by the driver not to overheat them)
so if we generalise a little Cups wear
on track say
5 x 100 miles = 500 miles / 5mm =
100 miles/mm
on road you will do say
5000/5mm =
1000 miles/mm
now as the chances are the front Cups will fail due to shoulder wear what difference does a 1000 road miles make and is i worth carting around a set of wheels damaging the inside of the car?
(just to be clear the inside of mine is shagged)
