SOLD
. one pair of superb RECARO Profi SPG seats in GRP, with fitted Recaro side mounts and runners. These seats are in superb condition with hardly sign of use even though they are used from a CSL. Shimmy what way does seat sizing work? I don't find my standard seats very comfortable and am wondering how these are comfort wise?

CB
I swapped out m CSL seat in 2008 for a Recaro Profi. The next week I drove to Monza and back with one 6 hour stint without getting out of the car. I found that the Profi was excellent on short and long distances. Compared with the CSL seats, if found I sat in the seat more and I did not roll out on corners. The only thing I found worse is that the seat beneath your bum needs a little extra padding on the longer journeys (2hours +) as race seats only have a medium thickness spong seat base.

Thats both my problem & concern. I find that after a long stint of driving i actually feel tired climbing out of the car. This never happened in my V8 M3 or anything before so I can only conclude that the seats must be partly to blame, either that or I am getting to bloody old.
Either way I would like to try some kind of alternative I think. Our road trip would leave me proper exhausted. |

Being of the more sensitive derriere types I have a an inch thick piece of foam I drop onto the base for 3hr stints, sometimes forget but is still ok. Only after a trackday and long drive home can be bit harsh. But is nicer with so much support seat does everything!
