Circuit Differences?
I was looking at booking a day at Silverstone and also oulton park in the near future, but noticed there are different circuit names and layouts and wanted to know if anyone knew something about them...
Silverstone GP Circuit vs. Silverstone Southern circuit: Is this the new permanent layout for Silverstone? Is it much different to the old one? And also: Oulton Park International vs. Oulton park Full? WHich one should I try n book? Thanks |

Last year they used to have Silverstone GP, Historic GP, International, National and South (Stowe circut ignore as it is an infield circuit). South is the only one that doesnt use the start finish straight
This year the track has changed for all of them and they now have Silverstone Bridge GP (like old GP with only minior changes), Arena New GP (major changes to GP for MotoGP), South, National and International (all changed). You might have to imagine the South and Inter as they are not shown. http://www.silverstone.co.uk/track/circuit-maps/

GP is the most popular historically as long and F1 do it. Maggots complex is a good set of corners.
This year i guess Bridge GP and Arena GP, arena is new but i think the new bit looks great, big sweepng bends fo the CSL. I am gonna do South this year as it has this new corner as well and a bit cheaper
