New Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric
Anyone else tried these on their CSL? I've got 275/30 and 245/35 19s on my car and they've been awesome. I would've had 235/35 at the front to better match the rolling road circumference but they couldn't get stock. In the dry they give excellent grip (better than the PS2s I had) and are very progressive in the wet. They are also a lot cheaper, I paid around £620 all in for all 4.

So you find them much better than the PS2
Are they better in the dry / wet ? Have you used them on track ? |

I was kicking myself when I read about them in EVO after buying PS2's.
They appear to be the dogs b........ I run F1's on my VR6 and they are great. |

Rezmund, you got 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric, not just Goodyear Eagle F1's for £620, where did you source them from as that seems a good deal compared to the £800'ish for the PS2 option.
Thanks, Nick |

Not used them on track but once warm they have a lot more grip than previous Goodyear models (wet and dry) and feel much better all round than the PS2s. Admittedly the profiles I'm running now don't match the PS2s I had.
I bought the rears off EBay for £290 all in and bought the fronts for £330 from mytyres. I'd ideally have bought 235/35 front but couldn't get UK stock as the tyres are quite new. I wouldn't say they are a track tyre but an excellent road choice for UK conditions. Will keep people posted on my views of them. Have a good weekend.

There are currently good prices/deals on www.tyrexpress.com for the Asymmetrics, around £626 delivered for 275/30 and 245/35. Better priced than mytyres.
