Supersprint LWR, res or non-res?
As per title, those of you that have the LWR exhaust which is more liveable ?
exhaust on my m3 is cracked and generally fucked, also as everyone is aware it's a bit of a lead weight too!!!! just wondering which is less likely to drone at cruising speeds between the 2 as i'll need a new mid pipe as well as the backbox cheers |

I've got lightweight race, ss cats and OEM centre and no drone on motorway. The drone you get is really low down in the rev range and minimal speeds, like 2k revs
I also had non res section and would buy again, that set up is loud. Another nice set up is supersprint cats, supersprint non res and OEM back box. |

I have the LWR along with a non res centre.
Not really sure what folk would class as drone, you're not going to fail noticing the noise and, for me, that's fine when moving it on a bit. Although it howls quite well it doesn't drown out the airbox sound, when they're both on song it sounds wonderful. However, there is always one drawback, for me it's the volume when it's just pootling around e.g, built up areas etc. It can be a bit on the cringe inducing side then. Steve
this!! Non res will do your nut in if minimal drone is your goal. If your neighbours happen to have applied for planning to put up a 6 storey affordable flats condo.......... then Supersprint headers, SS 100 cell cats, non res centre and a LWR back box will do nicely. |

Resonated is quieter by all accounts.
Love my non-resonated setup though

Cheers for the response guys
LWR is back order for a few weeks justnow, evolve managed to sort me out with a ss race backbox however and sourced a non res centre section elsewhere - from what i've read drone is minimal with the non res on the regular race box Roll on nurburgring next week |

Res box on mine with std cats and LWR. Personally non-res is too much but plenty like it.

std cats + res SS + race back box
the back box is the weight saving item. passes noise test on track days too. |
