Question Front droplinks - CSL specific?

The front droplinks on my car are worn. The garage ordered replacements off the VIN number but when they arrived they were about an inch longer that the ones already on the car.

The existing ones look standard?

Are the droplinks CSL specific. If so does anyone have the part number?

Thanks
Niall

No they are not.

Are you sure you don't run aftermarket dampers ?

Try these:
Part number: 31 35 6 780 847
Old Part Number: 31 35 1 095 694
Don't know if there is any difference between old and new?

Yes. There's BC Coilovers that were on the car when I bought it. I also got the original suspension with the car but there was no mention of changing the droplinks and there's none in the box of original bits?

@ Neil I'll try those thanks.

Then 101% your drop links have been changed to shorter ones.
Can you see the part number maybe on the old parts ?
I guess they knew what the proper part from BMW is.
Unfortunately, I don't think there is a database for BMW drop link sizes.
However, this gives me an idea that I could start one.

They're going to pop them off tomorrow to see if there is a part number on them. I was hoping to save them a job. I'll pop the part number on here when I get it along with the length of the drop link if it helps?

They all fit depending on the suspension used, OEM to extreme:

The shorter ones are most likely to be aftermarket.
